Job Description

The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. inverters (power modules), comfort functions, transmission control units, safety functions (e.g.: airbags)) and a... wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing.

Within Automotive Electronics division, our organization is responsible for developing assembly and interconnection technologies for all kinds of products/ control units including the new trends of electrification and automation.

Your contribution to something big:

► Development of the latest assembly and interconnection technologies to enable sustainable e-mobility for premium car manufacturers e.g.: welding, bonding, metal filled epoxy gluing, soldering, sintering and numerous type of form fitting connections etc.

► Data driven characterization of the above mentioned technologies (e.g.: data mining, AI etc.)

► Work in cross-functional engineering teams, with product development teams and manufacturing engineers, both locally and internationally.

► Designing, setting up and evaluating experiments.

► Support problem solving for series production

► Proper documentation of results

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

► Master degree in the field of environmental sciences (eg.: mechatronics or mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering)

► Good communication skills in English

► Precise work style

► Self-motivated team player with strong desire for continuous learning

Advantages:

► Experience in AITs (assembly and interconnection technology) is an advantage

► Knowledge of statistical methods is an advantage
