The Software Development Engineer is to work as a member of the technical learning development team. The post holder is to design and develop software applications based on user requirements. In addition, the post holder will work with faculty and learning designers to design and develop software add-ons/plug-ins that enhance the school's teaching and learning capabilities. A good understanding of at least one scripting language and web-based languages is a must. Key Responsibilities: Work with subject matter experts and recognize their workflow challenges Design and develop learning software solutions that address learning needs Maintenance of software codes and software tools Provide full-stack development expertise on all software projects Perform software testing, bugs fixing and quality control check Manage learning projects, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring quality of deliverables Provide technical expertise for mobile app development Requirements: At least 2... years of relevant working experience in software development Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in programming languages for app development and system software coding Experience in project management, technical development and implementation Experience in designing and developing full stack web-based solutions Excellent presentation and communication skills. Able to present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise well-organized manner to stakeholders This is a 3 years contract appointment.
