Our client is recruiting for an experienced Corporate Manager to direct the economic and financial management of the organisation within the UK. This pivotal role will ensure the implementation of the policies defined by the head office, complying with legal regulations in conjunction with directing activity related to the corporate areas.

The position requires a broad range of skills and experience, the ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Economics or Business studies and demonstrate experience within a comparable role (minimum 8 years). You will be results orientated with excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills and a strong people manager. A background within heavy manufacturing/Engineering is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
• Drawing up the budget in accordance with the criteria set by the head office, for approval by the Management Committee.
• Collaborate in the preparation of the... country's business plan, as well as ensure its compliance.
• Coordinate all corporate areas including but not limited to Finance, HR, IT, purchasing, ensuring the implementation of the policies, processes and procedures. Working closely with the Head Finance Department on tax planning, compliance with all commercial and tax obligations as well as the resolution of issues raised by external auditors.
• Collaborate with Head office in financial controlling, forecasting, analysis of variances between the forecast and the budget, etc.
• Lead the search for financing and guarantees for projects in your area.
• Ensure the treasury processes guaranteeing the forecasts and reviewing the cash flow, as well as ensuring the maintenance of the cash balance at minimum operating levels.
• Assess the feasibility of new investments and local projects, presenting the data for approval at central management level.
• Provide the necessary funds to the different work centres, supervising the production of the financial/accounting reports required.
