The Camera System Engineer – DFMEA specialist is responsible for convergence of the DFMEA analysis and documentation within the Product System Team. The engineer will work on the creation of the platform for the next generation for Active Safety cameras.

Your role:
• Train the project members in DFMEA method and tools
• Support the design team during customer reviews.
• Moderate the DFMEA meetings by mentoring, training and coaching the team members
• Secure that DFMEA content is meeting customer, automotive industry and Aptiv standards
• Defines DFMEA scope and structure
• Identifies functions and failures, connects function and failures between system elements
• Leads the review of requirements with Hardware competencies
• Performs risk analysis, optimization and DFMEA verification review
• Review appropriateness and completeness of the DFMEA documentation
• Perform verification and confirmation reviews of the DFMEA
• Secure that DFMEA is baselined and stored according to... configuration management requirements
• Act as DMFEA tools and database administrator
• Participates in Program Increment Planning

Your background:
• University degree in engineering sciences or comparable knowledge and skills acquired through professional experience and further education
• Expert knowledge about the development of embedded systems
• Prior experience in System Engineering and DFMEA coordination in embedded systems, preferably ADAS
• Experience with development reference models and methodologies like ASPICE or Agile
• Business fluent English, spoken and written
• High analytical thinking ability
• Reliability, commitment and dedication, initiative, flexibility, ability to work in a team
