What we expect

Odoo is looking for a Content Marketing Translator who will be responsible for producing translations of English to Spanish in support of all Marketing & Business material to ensure accuracy, consistency of messaging, and tone across the organization.

Examples of these translations are Spanish subtitles for our tutorial videos, our functional & technical documentation, legal documents, sales tools, employee handbooks, and every other marketing & sales material.

We expect the... candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit.

Responsibilities
• Production of translations Spanish<> English in support of all Marketing & Business material to ensure accuracy, consistency of messaging, and tone across the organization.
• Management and use of linguistic resources including Internal tools, translation memories, glossaries, and style guides
• Timely delivery of translation/review project deliverables
• Responsibility to ensure language quality of all produced and reviewed translations
• Work in a collaborative manner with the Marketing team

Must Have
• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Capable of providing English to Spanish written translation
• Able to relay the tone and style of the original language
• Detail-oriented and able to work well with a team of translators and other partners
• Able to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish; Near-native fluency in English required.
• Able to accept and provide peer review of translations

• Experience translating material English to Spanish
• Working within Marketing
