Role
Description
The Engineer will join a global team of experienced system architects and system engineers that support all cooking products globally. Together with system architects or system engineers, the engineer will work directly with x-functional project teams to document requirements and support trade-off negotiations. They will also interface significantly with an organization called “Product Development Excellence” which oversees and guides product... development processes including system architecture tools and processes.
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 5:00pm
Responsibilities
-Facilitate Stakeholder meetings with stakeholders where requirements and trade-offs will be discussed.
-Facilitate Engineering Target setting to drive engineering to set target ranges for each requirement in support of the project schedule.
-Oversee requirements complexity across multiple projects – they will consider all existing requirements in the cooking library for re-use or retirement. They will look for opportunities to reduce requirement complexity.
-cooking requirement library in IBM rational:
Manage roles/access to cooking library
Create and manage requirements reviews
Manage requirements data and organization
Create new requirement streams for projects ( select requirement sets that apply to projects or specific models)
Provide requirements metrics (see “measurable results section below) for key project events including G0 and G1.
Support ongoing management or requirement/changes over the project life-cycle
