Job description
• Electrical engineer to support FOU package in delivery of jacket and pin pile scopes
• Areas of support to include: fabrication of jackets and; FOU package input into WTG and O&M, technical queries
• Functional reporting to the FOU Engineering Manager, line manager to be Foundation Director.
• Technical and engineering interface between fabricators and the project team leads and engineering management
• Techical Query resolution, with escaltion to Engineeirng Team/Designer, where necessary
• Technical and engineering interface to internal WTG package and O&M package.
• Day to day reporting to FOU engineering manager
• Responsible for engineering knowledge of the FOU design and understanding of the fabricators
• Effective communication with Foundation package management team and other internal teams as necessary
Job requirements
• Fluent in English – effective technical communication
• Electrical engineering degree
• Strong experience in electrical engineering , both... fabrication and design, ideally within offshore wind jacket fabrication
• Experience in detailed design and fabrication technical queries
• Experience in site based fabrication and interacting with fabricators
• Ability and interest to deep dive into technical challenges
• Ability to work under pressure with a high level of autonomy.
• Excellent cooperation and collaboration skills; a team player who is willing and able to work with others to solve problems and share knowledge.
• Comfortable flagging problems when they arise and asking for help when needed
• Ability to be proactive while working remotely or independently
• Culturally aware with a high level of emotional intelligence to work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Development of close and aligned working relationship with FOU Team members.
