You will be responsible for conducting analytical and metabolite identification work for non regulatory research activities. Responsibilities How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you.

\tBringing expertise in structure elucidation. \tConducting analytical and metabolite identification work for non regulatory in vitro research activities. \tBeing responsible for the development of LC MS/MS chromatographic methods for small molecules within the group and to act as an expert consultant on the development of chromatographic methods within the wider R&D organization. \tIncreasing profile of the department externally by publishing papers/posters and participation in expert groups. \tInterpreting the relevant data and prepare accurate scientific study updates and contribute to reports. \tMaintaining and writing SOPs, as required. \tMonitor research progress, identify problems, and explore new approaches to achieve team goals. \tCommunicate with research leadership and downstream teams on pipeline and progress. QualificationsEducational Qualifications: Master of Science (M.S.) in chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields with over 5 years of relevant experience or applicable industry experience desired; or B.S. in related fields with over 10 years of hands-on experience. Competencies and Qualifications:

\tExperience in metabolite identification in a CRO, pharmaceutical or agrochemical companies. \tExperience in chromatographic method development for small molecule research. \tExperience with protein expression and purification in heterologous expression systems with common affinity tags. \tKnowledge in running and design of enzymatic assays. \tProficient in use of relevant High resolution Mass spectrometry and use of relevant software, LC/GC-MS/MS data interpretation skills. \tKnowledge of metabolism/metabolic reactions. \tThis is an opportunity for you as a technical expert in LC/GC-Mass spectrometry to demonstrate your ability to make a real impact in a Trait Discovery organization committed to innovation and scientific excellence. \tBuild and shape your career in an environment that sets and commits to the highest standards of scientific research. \tTo be part of a team who support each other, embrace and solve technical challenges that span across multidisciplinary teams. \tA proven track record of creative scientific accomplishment as evidenced by a strong publication and/or patent record. \tStrong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present research to audiences at a variety of levels. \tDemonstrated proficiency at experimental design, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting. \tKnowledge of utilization of various databases, bioinformatics tools, modern analytic instrumentations, and computer skills.
