Within the Investment and Wealth Management Solutions division of Julius Baer the Product Development & Management team is responsible for providing our clients with a diverse range of products and solutions and for continuously adapting the offering to the evolving needs of clients and changing regulations, incl. those related to Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) topics. The work of the team covers the full life cycle of the discretionary and advisory solutions offering as well as the inhouse funds managed by Julius Baer.

We are looking for a highly... motivated individual to join the team as an Offering & Product Manager and to work with us on defining and developing the future offering shelf of Julius Baer. YOUR CHALLENGE

Product Development & Management
• Development of new and ongoing maintenance of existing discretionary and advisory solutions
• Development of tailored made solutions for individual clients
• Acting as product owner for certain parts of the offering shelf
• Coordinate product implementations and modifications with all internal stakeholders, incl. front units - tasks include amongst others: process definitions, review of legal contracts and internal policies, coordination of system changes, marketing materials, promotion initiatives, ESG product disclosures as well as ensuring that everything is set up properly in internal systems
• Act as single point of contact for all product and services related questions
• Preparation of business cases for new products and strategic initiatives
• Assure adequate product governance
• Maintenance of the internal product catalogue
• Contribution to cross-functional and cross-divisional projects as a representative of the team

Product Governance & Life Cycle Management
• Prepare materials for and coordinate regular Product Approval Board meetings
• Coordinate periodic product life cycle reviews
• Prepare internal reporting to senior management

YOUR PROFILE
• University degree or other higher education in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent
• Prior experience of up to 5 years in the financial industry (Banking or Asset Management)
• Knowledge of “Private Banking” products and services and corresponding processes would be an asset but is not required
• Interest in legal and regulatory topics such as Mifid and SFDR and existing knowledge in key regulatory topics would be an asset
• Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
• Strong analytic skills, a critical mindset willing to challenge the status quo and eager to learn
• Ability to mediate between different stakeholders to find the best solution for the client
• Strong ability to work independently (self-motivated) and in a well-structured and precise working manner
• Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint applications
• Fluency in English. Fluency in German would be preferred but is not required
