Role Description

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual become a key member of the retail operations team here at 3Arena. Working as part of a small close knit team, your position will be fundamental to ensuring 3Arena maximizes all retail opportunities. The work is interesting, varied and will involve evening and weekend work as well as some office based activity.

Who You Are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Proven and demonstrable management experience in a busy retail environment
• Knowledge of EPOS systems
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Experience of managing high volumes of contract staff
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Employment law
• Highly numerate
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of fast flow beer systems is desirable

What The Role Includes
• Achieving agreed spend per head, maintaining and increasing gross profit margins in line with budget
• Planning retail staffing levels for all 3Arena retail outlets and ensuring that the costs are kept within budget
• Induction of agency staff
• Liaising with and training 3Arena in house Retail Supervisors
• Ensuring all units are correctly stocked at all times
• Communicating with suppliers
• Completing stock takes
• Cashing up after shows in line with company cashiering procedures
• Maintaining accurate records and processing same for the Finance department
• Liaising and working with the Operations Management and Private Members Clubs team
• Providing sales data to the Marketing Partnerships team
• Producing reports for venue management as required
• Ensuring all retail staff follow health and safety and hygiene protocols
• Providing Duty Management of retail department during shows
• Providing professional retail advice to design teams working on new projects
• Playing an active role on the venues Health and Safety and Sustainability Committees
• Attending meetings as required
