We are recruiting for a large General and Dementia Elderly residential care home which is seeking a Deputy Care Home Manager in Cannock in Staffordshire.

This role is management hours Monday - Friday with shared on-call and flexibility dependent on the needs of the service.

A large compliant residential service seeking a strong Deputy Care Home Manager - working alongside the Registered Manager you will work based on the needs of the service which will include weekends and oncall.

Ultimately your role is to oversee / maintain the care of Clients within the Care Home working closely with the Registered Manager to achieve this.

In the absence of the Registered Manager, to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Care home, and ensure that all Company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements, are adhered to within the defined timescales, monitoring/ supervising staff... Daily tasks will include resident care, risk assessments, care plans, referrals, liasing with MDT and leading by example in your role as Deputy Home Manager.

You need to be working at a senior level already to apply for this role having previous experience within a care home setting. This role will ultimately set you up for becoming a Registered Manager.

Interested applicants need to have experience of working in a similar environment with this client group.

You will have minimum NVQ level 3 and have leadership/ supervisory experience with ambitions to undertake L4/ RMA and becoming a Registered Manager.
