POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Exciting Opportunity for Computer Graphics Specialist at McCallie Center of Graphics Excellence.

Description of Work:

The Graphics Specialist will support the C-5M Super Galaxy Interactive Electronic Technical Manual Conversion team in Huntsville, AL. The specialist will work closely with CAD Illustrators, Web Devs, and Technical writers and be responsible for accurate conversion of legacy raster graphics into cutting-edge intelligent graphics. This position involves a high degree of coordination, and requires an individual who is innovative, able to quickly solve issues, and can work with minimal supervision.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ideal Skillset:
• Strong... computer graphics manipulation skills, specifically provisional military, and mid-stage vector graphics.
• Understanding of common image file formats and their strengths and weaknesses.
• Eye for detail, progress tracking, ability to multitask and switch gears quickly.
• Expertise working as part of a dynamic, interactive graphics and programming team.

• Self-starter who constantly strives to develop new procedures to improve efficiency.
• Aptitude for devising creative solutions to challenges through storyboards or functional prototypes.
• Willingness to learn and expand upon existing skill sets.
• Knowledge of current graphics and web-based technologies.

• Able to take direction from leads and quickly change methods to advance work.
• Prepared to establish and maintain version control, file access permissions, and archival.
