Newbridge Academy is looking for a primary teacher; most likely a combined grade 3-4 class. Teh position is available due to a retirement. Class sizes rarely go over 10 due to constraints of physical class size. We are a small school with approximately 30-40 students. Teachers are expected to teach all subjects but French and Mandarin. As most of our students are of Chinese ancestry, an appreciation of Chinese culture and language is appreciated. Whilst being a small growing school, the intent is to purchase property to build a K-12 university prepatory school.

Most of our students prefer to speak English; however, Mandarin or Cantonese tends to be the dominant language at home.

We are looking for a passionate teacher who likes to share their ideas with others. A teacher who wants to be part of a school where we create traditions and... history at the same time. In addition, experience with students who may not have had as much exposure to English as a native speaker is preferred. There is no extra curricular requirement after school at this time; however, we meet weekly as a faculty. Wedo clubs during the school day, 8:30 - 3:30.
