We’re looking for an engaging and inquisitive recent graduate to join the growing Altrata Wealth Data Services team in Hungary. You’ll be an integral member of the team, supporting senior members of staff on execution of bespoke Screening and Modeling projects, as well as various types of data exports.

Altrata’s Predictive Modelling product identifies patterns and trends to provide wealth intelligence solutions to help clients from the financial services, healthcare, educational, non-profits, retail, real estate, and travel sectors to create strategies, to extend their reach and to build their prospect pipeline. We provide deep insights... and modelling solutions to clients to improve their practices and processes. This is usually done with the aim to help the client to make more informed decisions to effectively utilise their time and resources.

Altrata’s Screening products involves the analysis of a client’s customer or donor database to identify previously unknown HNW individuals. Our Screening processes use sophisticated matching and identity resolution technology, combined with deep subject matter expertise to enable Altrata clients to immediately make use of our in-depth research and intelligence on wealthy individuals. It also identifies their relationship networks to drive forward new customer or donor initiatives. Beyond merely unearthing matches in the customer or prospect data, Altrata utilises fuzzy matching and thus also grades these matches by wealth tier and match quality so potential prospects can be easily categorised and prioritised.

Depending on ability and experience, candidates selected for this role will support all aspects of the Altrata Screening and Modeling product delivery, including project scoping, feasibility analysis, data preparation, data matching, and report writing. Data Services Analysts will also be required to run database queries, extract data and carry out statistical analysis. Depending on ability and experience, candidates may also have the opportunity to work on data mining, data manipulation, data analysis tasks using R or Python, imputation techniques, and basic machine learning techniques.

Key responsibilities:
• Managing individual screening projects and keeping stakeholders up to date with progress
• Cleaning and structuring raw data for the matching process
• Conducting analysis of data and preparing client presentations
• Drafting/amending analysis reports detailing the qualitative and quantitative results of the screening project
• Becoming familiar and then mastering the database structure to perform complex queries through a SQL client
• Assessing the feasibility of potential screening projects and collaborating with the Commercial team in project scoping
• Applying OSINT research techniques to deductively resolve potential matched records in a methodical approach for consistency
• Learning and applying Machine Learning techniques such as regression models, decision trees, random forests, clustering, principal component analysis (PCA), and time series forecasting to predict future trends
• Cleaning and pre-processing data
• Analysing historical trends and patterns of prospects
• Understanding donor behaviour
• Debugging errors and updating R or Python-based data cleaning scripts

Minimum requirements:
• Degree qualified (maths, economics, computer science or data science backgrounds preferred)
• Work experience in a corporate environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Good presentation skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Have experience working with machine learning algorithms, such as supervised and unsupervised learning would be an added advantage
• Having knowledge on natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning would be an added advantage
• Have solid statistical knowledge and quantitative analytical experience

Technical requirements:
• Advanced knowledge and experience of Excel
• Competent knowledge and experience with SQL
• Some proficiency with at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI
• Some proficiency with at least one of the following: Python, R

The ideal candidate will:
• Have prior experience working with relational databases, data manipulation and data matching algorithms
• Have solid statistical knowledge and quantitative analytical experience
• Be well-presented, ambitious and a confident self-starter
• Be flexible – with a positive attitude
• Have some experience of research in financial services, B2B, and/or luxury goods sectors
