We are currently in the process of creating circumstances for our CHC business to... operate in full autonomy (separating the Business Unit from our Pharma company heritage, processes etc.), to accelerate our transformation towards being the best FAST MOVING CONSUMER HEALTHCARE BUSINESS. This is a great opportunity for talents to join CHC while we create a fully dedicated Digital organization to unlock the full potential for this business.
The Digital Engineer Manufacturing will be integrated in the CHC Digital Manufacturing team, that is managing the full manufacturing portfolio, roadmap, and projects globally for CHC GBU. This mainly includes MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for W&D and eBR, eOEE, Serialization F1/F2D2 (Antares), labelling tools, CMMS and the integration layer with the existing and future solutions for integrated functions (ERP, scales, OPC server, WMS, Analytics) and partners (i.e distributors).
Job summary:
Reporting solid line to the Head of Manufacturing Solutions for Digital CHC, this position is a Senior Digital Engineer Manufacturing role with accountability to implement, support and maintain the manufacturing applications on the scope for the CHC Manufacturing Execution layer across the manufacturing sites in the CHC network.
The Digital Engineer Manufacturing is responsible for providing evolutive maintenance and support on the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solution, eOEE solution, Serialization, and other potential manufacturing applications like CMMS (Plant maintenance). This mainly includes gathering business requirements, implement new functionalities, provide technical support on incidents during run stage and expertise on decision-making for the products evolution, ensuring the governance model is followed.
He/She is E2E accountable for the new features design, implementation and testing in accordance with the CHC standards, track incidents life cycle, by providing root cause analysis, site support, troubleshooting and drive AIMS response. Also, UAT support and end-users training.
Main responsibilities:

• Secure delivery as well as business value creation
• Train key users and support go-live operations

• Collaborate transversally on project activities
MES core model(s)
• Ensure governance model is followed
• Implement and assembly new functionalities as per business requirements
• Develop new scripts (or follow up development with vendor)
• Solution qualification & validation (GxP)
• Changes management & versioning, in relation with business stakeholders
• Writing of technical documentation and core training material
Project execution
• Regular meetings and follow up with the program manager
• Report and escalate deviations that could impact the roadmap
• Lead EBR implementation from digital side
• Key role on decision-making
• Alignment with Product Lead
• Provide UAT support and key users training
• Provide go-live support
• Provide testing support (scales connection, ERP interface, new developments…)
• Risks management and mitigation
Accountability about Operational Excellence
• Level 2 support (it accounts for application, system, and architecture issues)
• P1 resolution
• Drive incident fast resolution from AIMS team
• Evolutive maintenance support
• Provide strategies for continues improvement to reduce incidents in the mid-long term
Management of external stakeholders
• Contribute to RFP process & partner(s) selection
• Support on external resources management (application experts, IPL…)
About you
• Experience:
• Experience on project execution for computerized systems in several industries. Biotech/pharmaceutical is a plus.
• Experience in industry (production, maintenance, continuous improvement…). Knowledge of cGMP and regulated environments is a plus
• Experience on implementation of any MES systems and OEE solutions. Knowledge of Siemens OPCenter and SAP PCo/MII is a plus.
• Experience of integration with process automation solutions (e.g. PCS7, DeltaV, Kepware) and ERP interfacing (e.g. SAP) or other level 4 (ISA 95)
• Knowledge of active directory – user management, DNS, IP networks and virtualization is a plus
• Proven customer focus experience and situational adaptability with both internal and external resources.
• Proven experience in cGxP qualification is a plus
• Experience with labelling solutions for production environments is a plus
• Proven experience in support of multi-site projects is a plus
• Understanding of manufacturing, manufacturing technologies, digitalization, and industry 4.0
• Experience on implementation or as a key user of CMMS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge on Serialization and aggregation principles
• Soft skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, conflict resolution and problem-solving in a global environment. Project management and user experience.
• Technical skills: SQL and Oracle database, OPC server knowledge (desired), functional expertise on MES and OEE systems (preferably Siemens OPCenter and SAP PCo/MII), expertise on application integration process points with ERP and automation layer. Knowledge on PLC / SCADA programming is a plus
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in industrial engineering or equivalent in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management and/or Manufacturing.
• Languages: Fluent spoken and written English. French and Spanish are a plus.
