Job Summary

Event Sales is responsible to develop and foster hotel business through pro-active direct sales planning, coordinating with Travel Agencies, LGUs and Institutions for corporate account and others. She should develop strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, target sales revenue.

Responsible for identifying, coordinating, and organizing corporate events including executive meetings, trade shows, press meetings, social, seminar and conferences. Negotiate and execute contracts for both large and small-scale events

SALES PLAN
• Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then setgoals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
• Prepare and implement sales plan according to marketing calendar
• Serves as... project monitoring on all major programs for the corporation and SBUs(Strategic Business Unit); coordinating
• Overseeing all project components and deliverables. Ensures the successful completion of needs assessment, RFP (Request for proposal) process, budget planning and controls, site selection, travel coordination, vendor negotiations, meeting specifications, production, and communication.
• Coordinates scheduling for meetings and events to ensure participation of key attendees.
• Negotiates and reviews contracts with vendors in support of event activities.
• Negotiates corporate discounts to reduce costs and capitalize on preferred partner programs (i.e.travel, promotional items.)
• Creates, manages, and distributes all event documentation necessary for a successful event including budgets, agendas, work back schedule, on?site roles and responsibilities, on?site event flow, post?show report, etc.
• Performs purchasing functions related to meetings, events, baptismal, wedding and other promotional needs.

RATE SHEET
• Endorse rate sheet including agency rate, partnership rate and BAR rate which shall set as a standard of room rates.
• Create events package/s.

SALES PROSPECTING
• Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent room sales for Hotel.
• Target key accounts potential for the company.
• Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
• Initiate sales call to acquire new sales lead. Arrange site inspections trips to hotel/s by corporate clients.
• Create sales prospecting template
• Set to accomplish standard weekly sales prospecting target

DOCUMENTATION
• Draft sales agreement with client to be submitted to front desk for bookings. To be part of the daily sales report.
• For event: Prepare banquet event order
• For group room bookings: Prepare corporate discount rate package
• Maintains an extensive network of contacts for possible repeat events and functions or database.
• Creates and executes events surveys to understand participants’ requirements and feedback.
• Identifies event issues and determines recommendations to support continuous improvement of process and practices for future events.
• Performs other functions as assigned

CLIENT FACILITATION
• Conducts ocular inspections to prospective event clients.
• Provide highest quality of service to clients all the time.
• Coordinate to sub department inquiries and request.
• Sales associate shall assist client from the start of their transaction until the end of their booking.
• Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response time line.

REPORTS
• Submit required reports every month.

COVERED SHIFT
• Performs tasks, duties and covered shifts of colleagues in their absence.

OTHERS
• Undertake other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Male or Female
• Wiling to working in Mabini Batangas
• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Hotel as Sales at least 2 years

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR
• Meeting and exceeding the performance target and reports on time 35%;
• Meeting and exceeding the company goal such as projects and assigned task 35%
