About the role and responsibilities

· With your expertise and creativity, you will derive, structure, and help to implement innovative digital applications in a modern cloud-based environment that help people all over the world to see better.

· Supported by a highly capable teams and motivated developers you develop towards the main driver of architecture and design decisions as a servant leader

· Your analytical skills coupled with a deep understanding on the latest technologies in web and native app development help you to choose the optimal tech stack and solution design for our products

· Further, you use your outstanding communication skills to... foster a close alignment on architectural topics, system connectivity and coherent interface designs across multiple teams working on our digital application landscape

· You will not dictate system designs rather than teach, coach, and coordinate the development teams to come up with them themselves.

· For you the problem always comes first, the tech stack last.

· You work in an agile and dynamic team that is highly motivated

Our requirements

· You have a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, or any digital discipline with a technical background

· 4 years of relevant experience, ideally as a solution architect

· Preferably you have even designed larger software systems in a modern cloud architecture

· You have a solid understanding of – and love working with – modern tech stacks, native and hybrid applications, REST APIs, microservices and feel comfortable with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure

· You can learn new things quickly while keeping the big picture in your head to enable wise decisions

· You can communicate and visualize complex system architectures to a broad range of stakeholders

· You are familiar with domain-driven design

· Agile methods like Scrum, Kanban and Design Thinking are your tools of choice

· You are a team player

· You are fluent in English
