Role: Senior Design Engineer

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000

Premier Group are looking to bring on a Senior Design Engineer, to join a growing R&D team in Southampton.

The Role:
• Participate in the design and analysis of projects
• Communicating with suppliers and subcontractors
• Assisting the bid and purchasing team
• Produce detailed GA drawings
• Communicating with customer to discover their needs and how to implement them in a cost-effective approach
• Exceed customers expectations

Requirements:
• Engineering/CAD based qualification
• 5 years’ industry experience
• Highly experience with CAD systems
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Steel fabrication knowledge
