We are currently seeking an IT Support Analyst for our client who is a leader in satellite communication space working on high profile projects.

Location: Toronto ( Onsite - day shift)

Contract for 6 months with strong possibility to convert to a permanent role

IT Support Analyst ( Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

· User support/ desktop support in a fast-paced environment

· Employee onboarding and off-boarding

· Employee hardware troubleshooting and support

· In office and on-premises hardware... equipment support

· Providing helpdesk support efforts relating to desktop, workstations, and IT equipment problems

· Developing, documenting, and maintaining IT policies and procedures

· Support Security team in rolling out tools

· Sourcing, managing, and organizing IT hardware, equipment, software, and licenses.

· Exposure to enterprise application software support (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Docusign, Vimeo etc.)

· Assisting with system administrator with backup/restore, business continuity and disaster recovery procedures

Basic Qualification:

· Degree in Computer Science/ IT

· 1 – 2 years of experience in IT support / desktop support

· Good grasp of computer fundamentals, particularly with Windows, MS office technologies -including proficiency in basic computer skills such as shutting down, sleeping, and restarting the computer, as well as opening and using applications efficiently

· Experience working with computer hardware- Servers, Desktops, cables, printers and providing L1 support

· Familiarity with different types of cables and their intended purposes.

· Strong organizational skills to maintain and organize the server room and board rooms

· Strong troubleshooting skills

· Openness and ability to pick up new technologies
