Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Are you looking to gain experience and help others live the best lives possible?If so, a Support Worker role could be for you!We are currently recruiting for Female bank and temporary Support Workers in our Middlesbrough service and offer industry-leading rates of pay - starting at £10.00 per hour.Our bank staff benefit from maximum flexibility, as you only work the shifts that you're available to work.In this service, we support 4 individuals with mild-severe learning disabilities to live their daily lives.
This can include:
Supporting with medication and medical appointments Encouraging the people we support to be as independent as possible Supporting these individuals to be active in their community and build fantastic friendships Encouraging the people we support to participate in activities they enjoy, including visiting day services, dance and music groups and enjoying the great outdoors Some experience in a supported living environment would be highly desirable.
A full UK driving license is essential.We are seeking candidates who are flexible to support people on day or night shifts.You'll be joining a leading social care charity in a role where you can transform someone else’s life while transforming your own too!
