Summary:
ITSO is a not-for-profit corporation that strives to be the preferred MLS® System and technology provider for its Member Associations. The products and services that ITSO provides enable the REALTORS® belonging to those Member Associations to deliver superior solutions to their clients. With regional MLS® Rules, a regional Arbitration Policy, and a regional Professional Standards regime, ITSO ensures there is consistency when using its MLS® System and holds its users accountable for their conduct. This model ensures there is professionalism among the users of the ITSO MLS® System, and consequently the desire is that clients will choose REALTORS® that belong to an ITSO Member Association.
ITSO is currently looking for a Professional Standards/Arbitration Manager is to administer the Professional Standards Complaints and Arbitration program. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Professional Standards/Arbitration Manager will over see the day-to-day administration of the... PSC/Arbitration program, provide support to Member Associations that have delegated enforcement of the PSC and Arbitration policies to ITSO on PSC or Arbitration matters, and will provide education to ITSO committee members, staff, and the Board.

Key Responsibilities:
● Administer the Professional Standards and Arbitration program
● Receive incident reports and commission dispute claims
● Determine jurisdiction of incident reports and arbitration claims
● Research and write reports regarding incidents
● Prepare consent agreements for incidents and claims that are resolved informally
● Coordinate with Committee Chairs for hearings
● Compile hearing packages
● Attend hearings to ensure proper processes are followed
● Assist hearing panels drafting and finalizing hearing decisions
● Ensure effective communication of outcomes to all stakeholders
● Act as staff liaison and provide support to ITSO Committees
● Provide training sessions for committee members
● Provide advice to Member Associations on related questions
● Propose amendments to the PSC and Arbitration Policies as needed
● Develop education materials for ITSO Committees and Member Associations
● Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director
Requirements:
● Paralegal Diploma or equivalent education
● Proficient computer skills and knowledge MS Office 365 and Zoom
● Ability to work remotely during EST business hours
● Knowledge of organized real estate, MLS® Systems, and the REALTOR® Code would be an asset
