Content Writer

Eastwood Libis, QC

Monday to Friday | 6 AM to 3 PM

Responsibilities:

● Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)

● Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services

● Write entertaining and informative scripts for brand videos focused on nutrition and wellness

● Create, proofread, and edit blog posts before publication

● Write product recommendation blogs and posts

● Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles

● Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic

● Perform keyword SEO research to write new and optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities

● Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific

● Match the tone, brand voice, and brand guidelines and adapt writing style for a variety of outlets

● Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics

● Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)

● Update website content as needed

Qualifications:

● 4+ years of proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role

● Portfolio of published articles

● Experience doing research using multiple sources

● Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process

● Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc)

● Knowledge of the health and wellness industry and popular or new topics around it

● Familiarity with web publications

● Creative and able to work in a fast-paced environment

● Efficient, organized, and detail-oriented

● Excellent writing and editing skills in English

● Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)

● Ability to meet multiple deadlines

● BS in Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field

● Is a hard worker, and willing to become invested in the company's success
