Sovereign Cooperate Services Limited is currently looking for an Senior/Client Accountant to provide support to its Corporate Offices within the Sovereign Group. If you are willing to join a Great Place to Work, then this job is for you!

Job duties:
• Process accounting transactions. Collect, analyse and interpret accounting records for book-keeping purposes.
• Preparation and filing of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards within the target and standards set.
• Tax computation and filing, including APS filing.
• Perform other statutory filings with the MRA as required.
• Preparation of periodic and annual surveys as required by the Financial Services Commission.
• Liaise between administrators/clients and auditors for finalisation of audit.
• Regular follow ups with clients and auditors to ensure that outstanding matters are resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain an updated accounting databases by performing systematic data entry in the accounting... system.
• Perform any other cognate duties.
• Good knowledge of Global business and Authorise Companies. Knowledge of Domestic and International Companies (BVI, Seychelles etc..).
• Good knowledge of accounting for trusts.
• Good knowledge of the relevant acts applicable to the accounting role particularly the income tax act and VAT act.
• Knowledge of the requirements of the various licences issued by the FSC such as insurance broker, investment adviser etc will be an advantage.

Profile:
• HSC minimum and studying ACCA
• Good accounting knowledge
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience
