About The Directorate – Student And Parent Experience (SPX).

The vision of the Student and Parent Experience Directorate is to harness the voice of learners, parents, and carers to contribute to designing and delivering a world class educational experience.Our purpose is to enhance education outcomes through enhanced experiences, enabling all learners to achieve their best potential across early childhood, school education, and post school education in VET.

The directorate develops and delivers a range of initiatives through consultation and an evidence-based approach which shows that a shared responsibility... for learning is a key factor in maximising student success.

About The Role

The role coordinates and supports training initiatives, projects and resource development which builds the capability of staff to effectively respond to complaints made to the Department. The role works collaboratively with key partners to organise and coordinate the day-to-day operational requirements for timely and effective training delivery to build capability in alignment with Capability Uplift objectives.

Essential Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in the training and development.
• Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check) for paid employment.

Key knowledge and experience
• Experience in developing and coordinating training programs and initiatives.
• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

• Experience in a similar role is highly regarded

Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening for this role which includes a Working with Children Check (if required) and National Criminal History Check.
