A Food Tech teacher is needed for a school in Wakefield starting ASAP on a full time and long term basis.

This is a great full time position teaching Food Tech at a school in Wakefield for a forward thinking and creative Teacher who can hit the ground running. You will benefit from working in a strong, experienced and cohesive department at a very well regarded school in the local area. High standards are routinely set in the department and school so that the students are challenged by the learning and can learn in an environment whilst displaying the core values of the school.

It's a full time post, expected to be long term so full planning and marking responsibilities will be expected. The school would expect you to be able to plan engaging and well-planned lessons and have a good understanding of behaviour management techniques to keep your students on task with the learning. You will also need to possess plenty of dynamism and be able to think on your feet and suitably tailor... the learning to the different ability levels of the students. You will also have a thirst to not just help the student to develop academically but to help equip them with the real life skills that will serve them well once they leave school.
