Senior Underwriter Casualty (m/f/d)

Job Description
• Underwriting of profitable business according to UW instructions and authorities, such as:
• acquisition of new and development of existing business
• risk analysis, premium calculation, preparation of tenders as well as negotiations
• examination and negotiation of wordings
• binding of new business and preparation of relevant information for Service & Support
• participation in annual meetings and individual appointments with clients
• preparation of proposals regarding underwriting decision (beyond authority)
• monitoring the portfolio regarding economical requirements
• Participation on strategy discussion
• Servicing the accounts, brokers and in-house brokers
• Organisation, information and communication within the responsibilities
• Supporting the Account Manager
• Special tasks (e.g. projects)

Qualification
•... Degree in economics preferable specialized in insurance or comparable qualification
• Several years´ professional experience in Liability Insurance
• High level of self-motivation and resilience
• Ability to cooperation and joy in teamwork
• High level of self-motivation and resilience
• Ability to think and act entrepreneurial along with decision-making capability
• Familiar within all common MS office products
• Very good German and English language skills (business fluent)Very good German and good English language skills
