You will be in charge of shaping the visual narrative of videos in order to engage the general public.

What You Will Be Working On

On this, you must be flexible and adapt to different types of shoots ranging from news gathering to entertainment lifestyle shoots and serious narrative documentaries. You would need to have a keen eye to capture interesting and relevant visuals, and be able to actively seek out new angles and fresh perspectives to help generate a constant stream of content for various platforms e.g. broadcast media, social media.

What We Are Looking For

You must have a diploma, preferably in Communications or Video Production Studies and have at least 1 year work experience as a video cameraman. You should be able to light scenes independently and carry out basic video editing. You should be able to light scenes independently and carry out basic video editing. You must be comfortable working independently as a one-man crew and also as part of a team... depending on the requirements of the production. You may be required to capture visuals for multiple digital platforms in a single session, and must be able to plan your shoot effectively and efficiently. In supporting defence-related filming, you would also need to work with constraints for on-site shoots to ensure that aspects such as information and operational security are addressed. You would also need to be comfortable and ready to be deployed overseas for shoots.

Successful candidates will be deployed to So Drama! Entertainment (a MINDEF-Related Organisation), on a 2-year contract.
