In this position, you will work on ensuring that our electrical laboratories and facilities are maintained and further developed. You will also take ownership of planning and executing maintenance programs related to these facilities. You will work in a team of Electrical Laboratory Engineers, having your own area of responsibility. This position is located in our System Drives division, Helsinki Finland.

This position reports to

Electricity Manager

Your responsibilities
• Taking part, planning and executing laboratory maintenance and developments
• Being responsible for electrical installations in laboratories
• Leading various types of development projects regarding the laboratories when necessary
• Co-operating closely with different teams and stakeholders: laboratory users, real estate, design teams and subcontractors
• Taking part in the development of electrical safety in laboratories
• Providing orientation for new laboratory users

Your background
• Several years of working experience in electrical engineering
• Interest towards working in a hands-on role, co-operating with other laboratory users and stakeholders
• S2 or S1 qualification is considered as a benefit
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach
• A B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering
• Good written and spoken Finnish and English skills
• Knowledge of automation and/or electrical design tools is considered as an asset
