We are looking for a motivated and proactive... Development Engineer, Electricals to strengthen our design and product development team in Tampere, Finland. In this team, you will take part in developing the screw compressors designed for marine, offshore, and mining industries. In your daily work, you will be a part of a global working environment with international stakeholders.

You daily responsibilities will include

• Dimensioning of electrical components such as electric motors, variable speed drives etc.

• Electrical cabinet design

• Creating and improving electrical drawings

• Laboratory testing support and troubleshooting

• Technical support for production and field service

• Participating in new product development and product optimization

Your qualification

• Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in electrical engineering

• Practical experience in electrical engineering

• Experience with an electrical engineering tool such as Eplan, E3, or similar

• Systematic organizational skills

• A driven and forward-thinking attitude

• Capability to work both independently, and in a team

• Good co-operative skills

• Strong time management skills and capabilities to prioritize even in a fast-paced working environment

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Sufficient Finnish language skills
