Cell QA (Quality Assurance) manager will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of a HV Battery Cells and developing quality test methodology and defining quality test criteria. In addition, QA manager must have the ability to perform root cause analysis and to develop / implement effective countermeasures during cell production process. Manage system and processes needed to prevent... recurrence of known / historic issues. QA manager needs to verify quality standards in accordance with the requirements of the organization. Leader must have effective communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization to communicate and resolve quality issues in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish a quality KPI, check its progress. Monitor products, processes, and quality systems to prevent nonconformities
• Conduct business training for cell QA engineers
• To ensure all Cell QA Engineers complete all assigned tasks in timely and efficient manner
• Lead investigation and root cause analysis of non-conformances. Ensure continuous monitoring of all corrective actions and process improvement measures
• Review and update product specifications, inspection standards, manuals, and lesson learned activities
• Ensure on-going data collection and analysis to assure cell quality
• Continues improvement activity to optimize and enhance the efficiency of quality and inspection systems
• Perform data analysis to identify areas for improvement of quality system
• Develop, implement, and monitor efficacy of corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare updates and reports of quality outcome to communicate quality activities
• Provide management updates regularly
• Facilitate reviews to eliminate internal systemic and external roadblocks. Collaborate with management on team road map and strategy
• Work closely with key stakeholders to provide delivery according to schedule
• Manage multiple priorities and deliver internal and external results on time
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to clarify business and technical requirements for Cell Quality Assurance

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university or equivalent. (Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, or Mechatronics may also be considered with technical industry experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial automation and controls experience with strong foundation in project management
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees within all areas of the organization including hourly employees to Senior Leadership
• Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally
• Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
• Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams
• Ability to coach / mentor / develop Cell QC Engineers
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work overtime as required
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• Bilingual English / Korean
• Master's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
• Shainin Red X / Six Sigma Certification
• Experience with the AIAG Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plans, FMEA, Production Part Approval Process, MSA, and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Experience with quality certification and system such as ISO9001/IATF16949 is required
• Familiar with World Class Manufacturing pillar methodology and implementation
• Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access or other database applications
• Good working knowledge of Google Suite software programs
• ASQ Certification in Quality and Reliability
