The Tweed Hospital Oncology/Haematology Department is seeking a temporary Nursing Unit Manager. In this role they will be responsible for the efficient management of the nursing and other relevant staff under their delegation and coordination of the provision of nursing care. The Nursing Unit Manager leads nursing staff, ensures effective liaison between all health professionals and is responsible for the environmental and work, health and safety management of the units.

If You Have
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), post registration management and/or specialty qualification and/or relevant clinical management experience
• Extensive nursing management experience and demonstrated leadership skills with the proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate and achieve a vision for nursing services
• Ability to effectively lead a nursing team within a complex multidisciplinary team environment, set priorities for services and establish and achieve agreed objectives
