You will be part of NOV’s business unit Subsea Production Systems with headquarters in Brøndby. NOV SPS consists of about 1400 colleagues based in Denmark, Brazil, Norway, the UK and US, including production plants in Kalundborg and Brazil. You’ll be joining a business unit with approximately 40 different nationalities, with customers based all around the world- and our annual revenue is around $350M.

This position will give you a good understanding of our business, and you will be able to make an impact on us - with your personality and skill-set. You will be part of Project Engineer department, where you will be responsible for assisting Senior Project Managers and/or Project Managers and/or Assistant Project Managers in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control, delivery and quality standards are met. Under the direction of the SPM and/or PM and/or APM, the PC is expected to take on any and all tasks in the quest to learn all he/she can about project execution as well be capable of execute one or two simple customer project(s) simultaneously from mobilization to closing.

As a project coordinator, your primary tasks are focused on:

Reporting – you set up meetings with other departments and you create minutes and action plans. You then help the project manager make sure all stakeholders are kept up to date with the project.

Monitor financial impact – prepare and monitor invoices and variation orders.

Communication – interface with the rest of the organization and – along with the project manager – be the project’s “face” to the rest of the company.

With the high level of coordination and documentation connected with the job, it is imperative that you are structured, proactive and quality-conscious. Equally important, you are also accommodating, friendly and service-minded, as you often have information that can help a project move along. Thus, it is important that you in word, deed and attitude can help the project and its participants thrive.

You will learn the specifics of working in the oil and gas industry on the job, but we expect you to:
• Have experience with projects where HSE and Quality is a top priority
• Be methodical and careful in your work
• Have a forceful, but friendly personality
• Have strong PC skills
