Introduction

Nutrapharm is a cGMP compliant contract manufacturing / packing facility specialising in the manufacturing of Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAMS).

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties are, but not limited to:
• Plan and draw up a production schedules for the month ahead.
• Plan and update a production schedule daily.
• Report into the production team daily on changes, shortages and plan adjustments.
• Decide on and plan for the required staff resources in order to complete production in the required time frame.
• Handle Production HR matters with the HR Department.
• Allocate production to the correct machinery.
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor productivity rates of both staff and machinery.
• Liaise with the engineering department to allocate time for planned preventative maintenance.
• Liaise with different departments and teams to ensure production can continue as per the production plan.
• Ensure that health and... safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.
• Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
• Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for Executive review.
• Supervise and motivate teams.
• Review worker performance and identify training needs.
• Manage KPI’s
• Updating of SAP Works Orders and Bills of Materials .
• Plan outgoing dispatch plans with the Logistics Team.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Must have managerial experience (non-negotiable)
• Team management of more than 50 people
• Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing experience (minimum of 3 years)
• SAP Experience
• .Must have worked in a SAHPRA , ISO 22000 or GMP approved plant.
