Due to our dynamic growth we are expanding our team and are currently looking for a

Junior Accountant (m/f/d)
as a temporary position with possibility of extension.

What You Will Do
• As a member of a Finance team you are involved in all areas of financial processes for the legal entity in Italy in accordance with the guidelines of BayWa r.e. group
• You are specifically responsible for accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, VAT-return and payments
• You ensure a timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing in cooperation with Finance colleagues located in Italy and Germany
• You provide commercial reports on a regular basis as well as commercial and administrative support, if required
• You interact with several partners within the BayWa r.e. group as well as external partners

What You Bring:
• You have an academic degree in Business Administration, Economics or comparable education
• You have gained professional experience in Accounting / Bookkeeping for more than 3... years
• You have acquired deep knowledge of accounting principles according to Italian GAAP, IFRS knowledge is a plus
• You are familiar with the use of an ERP system, SAP FI/CO knowledge is a plus.
• You own a high degree of self-motivation, proactive way of working, discretion, and loyalty
• Additionally, you show a fast comprehension in new and complex contents, flexibility, and a hands-on mentality
• You are fluent in written and spoken Italian. A good knowledge in English is required
• You are technically and digitally inclined
