Responsibilities:

· Providing pre-sales support to government agencies and companies specializing in the field of education.

· Lead technical project team in the quotation and technical description phase and support the sales team in the sales negotiation phase.

· Create, present and document technical solutions Provide detailed, high-level technical presentations to customers, partners and potential customers.

· Facilitate key client opportunities (technical consulting, CXO level presentations, etc.) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) while maintaining long term accountability of the local client team and replicating the experience across countries.

· Identify and analyze ICT trends in the government and utilities market and work with partners to deliver ICT infrastructure solutions to customers.

· Play a leading role in analyzing, planning, designing and delivering integrated technology solutions from portfolio to support government and public sector projects in various regions... including ICT infrastructure, business integration and business support for vertical industries.

· Actively seek new business opportunities in the government and utilities sector, identify common experiences and replicate successful experiences to other countries.

· Support marketing initiatives and industry events, speak at events (trade shows, forums, seminars, workshops, etc.), continuously communicate with leading customers, etc.

· Training of local/regional customer teams.

· Although based in Singapore, this position may require 50% (or more) travel throughout Asia Pacific.

Job requirements:

· At least 8-10 years of ICT experience in public administration or public organizations (educational institutions). Extensive knowledge of ICT strategies and requirements in public institutions.

· Experienced professional with a wide range of skills in sales, business development, communications, and consulting.

· In-depth knowledge of data centers, networking, cloud computing, overall architecture of computer systems and recommended product configurations.

· Ability to work closely with product line partners and third parties to develop integrated End-to-End solutions for government agencies and utilities.

· Customer service experience to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Ability to overcome cultural and organizational barriers and to work well in a pressured work environment.
