JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a highly experienced FullStack Software Engineer to contribute to our product Rally Software® and related technologies. As ideal candidate you should be passionate about developing high quality and maintainable software, exploring new technologies, being a team player in an agile environment. You should use best practices in creating software, write simple and clean code.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Have a passion for designing and coding the most complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements.

• Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.

• Assist quality assurance team by providing assistance to... testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.

• Collaborate with quality assurance in creation of their test plans and participate in reviews.

• Evaluate impact of software performance and recommend changes to software design team.

• Take pride in performing strategic research and design for multiple technical areas.

• Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.

• Provide product content to technical writers.

• Set up software configuration control and software development environments including program source control to ensure reliable backups and source code integrity.

• Design patentable technology and propose and review patent applications.

• May mentor, train and develop Software Engineers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related field.

• Typically 7+ years of professional experience with large-scale application development.

• Demonstrate knowledge in Typescript and React.

• Knowledge in Java and Spring Framework.

• Experience in REST API web services implementation.

• Previous experience with Git/Mercurial and CI/CD.

• Knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift is welcomed.

• Ideally experience with Performance optimization, profiling and SaaS development.

• Deployment, fine tune and maintenance of production and test environments.
