We, Wheels AHOY, one of the leading Food Truck companies in the Middle East are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Modular and Food Truck Manufacturing Supervisor

Role purpose:

Plan, execute, and coordinate the manufacturing of food trucks, container and modular units at WheelsAHOY such as managing daily operations, planning the purchase and use of materials, maintain and operate production equipment, assist with deployment of final deliverables, monitor stock levels, detect potential machinery problems and perform any administrative services, as required.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the fabricating and repair processes of a variety of trailers manufactured including flatbeds and other specialized trailers and supervise vehicle modifications.
• Demonstrate basic understanding and knowledge of industrial and/or commercial manufacturing & fabrication systems and processes.
• Read blueprints drawings and take... measurements to plan layout and procedures to design any modular unit.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements and set up the components for welding according to the specifications.
• Supervise the execution plans of electrical wiring, installation of electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for the modular units.
• Provide technical support and guidance on operations validation, development and implementation processes to the Operations team.
• Proactively identify risk mitigation solutions for resolving any potential malfunctions or engineering issues foreseen.
• Ensure operations-related activities are performed in compliance with company standards and regulations and follow all safety policies.
• Identify and implement cost optimization and reduction initiatives and initiate continuous process improvements to improve operational effectiveness.
• Supervise the transfer and deployment of the products and equipment, using power tools and forklift trucks.
• Ensure the facility is clean by removing debris and trash to maintain warehouse safety.
• Involve in project Planning, interpret project scope from the design documents, reporting and liaising with clients on a regular basis.
• Controlling costs and margins and overseeing all contractual issues.
• Plan and organize the execution teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other resources required for the project and coordinate between the design and execution teams to ensure that work is being carried out as per the design documents, specifications, etc.
• Develop a procurement and time schedule for each project and obtain project related regulatory permits required.
• To attend meetings with clients, architects and consultants and keeping them informed of progress.
• To supervise and monitor the site labour force through General Foreman and or Supervisors, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer's satisfaction.
• To prepare necessary paperwork for the completion of work and get it authorised by the client after their inspection.
• To develop a relationship with the Project Engineer and prepare periodical reports on the progress of work.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Attention to details to monitor and control projevt variables
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members to ensure the project is completed on time and on budget.
• Ability to motivate a team and make sound decisions
• Managing and monitoring daily administrative tasks for projects
• Supporting senior management with various task
• Managing projects contracts and making changes
