Overview of Job Function :

As a Web Applications Developer Intern, you will be tasked with assisting the Knowledge Management and Web Applications team with developing, enhancing, and supporting front and back-end web applications, websites, and supporting infrastructure.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist team members in developing and delivering a quality product/solution to the end users based on requirements provided by the business.
• Responsibilities include gathering requirements, providing timelines, application development, user acceptance testing, and debugging.
• Adaptability/Multitasking - Must be able to rapidly switch focus in the event of a call-to-action issue or other high priority project. Must be able to handle tasks in parallel on multiple projects.
• Teamwork - Work effectively and diligently as an individual and team member to resolve complex faults on critical systems while being flexible and able to take on different roles when required. This includes supporting the group in the event of colleague absence, elevated workload and other collaborative ventures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Software Development, Engineering Technology.
• Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks (i.e. .NET, C#)
• Knowledge of web languages and concepts (CSS, jQuery, HTML, Responsive Design)
• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle and SQL Server
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of scripting languages and Power Apps (PowerShell, Power BI, Power Automate).
