KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Associate Brand Manager for Bertolli, you will support the strategic imperative of growth by driving marketing and shopper marketing activities across our most relevant brand. You will be accountable for developing and deploying marketing strategies, plans and initiatives that grow sales and profit across all channels and customer loyalty. You will collaborate with peers across the organization to create and implement integrated marketing plans that leverage a wide variety of marketing tools to drive results. These including but are not limited to the following: ATL/BTL Communication plans; Promotions/partnerships; Shopper marketing/in-store initiatives, innovation and packaging. Going more granular, you will:
• Develop and lead key consumer communication activities and programming.
• Pro-actively participate in the execution of innovation/renovation projects including developing and tracking metrics for success.
• Work with Global Consumer Insights/Market Research to execute research plans that yield rich insights that can be translated into actionable growth programs.
• Maintain expertise in the retail and marketing industry as well as marketing strategies, staying ahead of issues, trends, and competitor strategies, and introduce best practice marketing strategies to the company.
• Help lead and direct work of external agency partners.
• Engage directly with customers and business partners to develop meaningful relationships; building plans to improve engagement with key accounts.
• Manage Bertolli's annual budget tracker and marketing financial process.

KEY STAKEHOLDERS
• Reporting Line: Bertolli Senior Brand Manager, United States
• Collaborates internally with the US Sales team (Key Account Managers) and Global Marketing team and externally with marketing agencies.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• Ideally 3 years of proven marketing leadership experience with FMCG brands
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or Communications

KEY SKILLS
• Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with capacity to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to across the organization - Sales, Marketing & Negotiating Experience - Project Management - Team Building & Strong Leadership Skills
• Desired: Spanish - Storytelling

KNOWLEDGE

Required:

Briefing & guiding agency partners with consumer communications, planning & execution

Understanding of the competitive forces within CPG industry
