Paid-On-Call firefighters respond to structure fires and other significant emergencies on an on-call basis and participate in fire fighting, rescue work and Community Involvement activities in collaboration with full-time members. You must be at least 18 years old, a high school graduate, have a valid driver"s license, live in or close to the City limits, and be able to respond to fires at any time of the day or night to maintain a 60% attendance rate of all required responses. City residency is preferred. Additional college course work or technical education is desirable. Fire fighting experience is a plus, but is not required. Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications - Paid on-call/part-paid positions do not require certifications or experience, however it is preferred. All candidates must successfully complete an interview, physical ability test, comprehensive background exam, pre-employment physical and drug screen to be considered for employment.
