Location

Our client is located in Saunderstown, Rhode Island. A historic district in the towns of Narragansett and North Kingstown, which developed as a boatbuilding center and summer resort area in the late 19th century. Known as the "Ocean State", their practice is 10 minutes away from the beach and surrounded by scenic views. They are on 4 acres of wooded land in an affluent area that is a short drive to Providence too.

Practice Overview

Our client is a family oriented practice that offers medical, surgical, and dental care to all pets - including avian and all exotics. From preventative care to... same day sick or emergency visits or in-house diagnostic services, they've got it all. Their equipment includes ultrasound, state-of-the-art surgical monitors, a new dental machine, digital radiology, complete inhouse lab, and the safest anesthetic options for their patients' care. What You'll Be Working On
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal, avian and exotic animal cases
• Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
• Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
• Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
• Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork

Qualifications
• Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
• Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Rhode Island required
• Four years of experience is preferred; Open to new grads with tech experience
• Experience on working with small animal, avian and exotics preferred
• Medical and surgical experience
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Highly motivated with a desire to learn and grow
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
