Introduction

Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier to the automotive industry, based in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape is looking for a Cost and Management Accountant.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Control costs via preferential contracts with suppliers, monitoring contract rates vs actual costs, evaluating suppliers, preparing RFQs and tenders, design process flows and work flow requests on Prisma.
• Monitor system prices for raw materials and components.
• Constantly monitor material price changes and highlight where changes could cause problems in achieving targets.
• Update standard costing for inventory.
• A full job profile will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (3 years).
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS, auditing, and control principles.
• Manufacturing environment experience (automotive manufacturing experience).
• Advanced MS Excel experience.
• ERP experience (Syspro... preferred).
• Own vehicle advantageous.
