Our paid Summer Internship is a 10 weeks long programme. During this time, you will be immersed in challenging and ambitious day-to-day tasks or projects requiring strong determination. Look bellow and choose the role that you match he most!

Gain experience in a team that manages financial resources and provides financial control across the organization. Take part in a classic back-office operation or help to secure the organization with liquid monetary and non-monetary funds.

Group Accounting Intern

You will be given the opportunity to carry out preparation activities for interim financial reporting. In addition, you will be trusted to process daily allowance payments and expense reports received from employees... Lastly you will need to provide support in GL accounts reconciliation process as well as for making reconciliation acts for vendors and/or clients.

You will gain insights into operations of Group Finance Unit. You will be introduced to interim reporting preparation process and you will be encouraged to learn parts of accounting activities and processes.

We expect you to have advanced proficiency with Excel. SQL proficiency will be considered as an advantage. Fluent English and local language is required in spoken and written communication.

IFRS Intern

You will work with the Baltic annual and interim reports templates and data, compiling comparative information (from previous year). You will get hands on experience by assisting in preparation of local subsidiaries’ reports. As well as participate in other actual IFRS Team tasks – like ad-hoc consultations on certain processes, procedure review etc.

You will gain the overview of the IFRS and accounting standards importance and practical application in the Bank. Introduction and first experience with Bank’s regulatory (the mandatory financial reports to EU authorities) and public reporting (annual and quarterly mandatory reports Bank is publishing for investors and other stakeholders).

We expect you to be detail oriented and able to work with large amount of data (comfortable with Excel). Fluent English and local language is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Finance, Economics or Accounting.

Financial Performance Management Intern

You will be looking at external reports from other banks identifying and collecting available market statistics for lending and commission income in the Baltic countries, applying the data to calculate Luminor market share.

You will gain guidance on how financial performance is determined across market player as well as grow your presentation skills.

We expect you to be able to analyze financial statements and how strong analytical thinking skills. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Economics, Finance and Business Administration.

Performance Reporting Intern

You will be able to apply and grow your data visualization skills by creating basic reports in Tableau. You will need to document existing reporting practices but also you will be invited to assist on data engineering tasks.

You will get familiar with the complexity in Bank’s reporting. You will have the ability to learn from senior financial and data professionals. Use market leading business intelligence tool Tableau.

We expect you to have basic proficiency with Excel, good math skills and interest in finance and banking. Previous experience with SQL and Tableau will be considered as an advantage. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication.

Treasury Intern

Your main task will be daily, weekly and monthly Treasury reporting as well as creation of presentations.

You will gain good understanding how bank treasury functions as well as knowledge on liquidity, capital and interest rate risk management.

We expect you to have good Excel skills and interest in treasury area as well as data. Basic SQL skills will be considered as an advantage. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Finance, Economics or Math.
