Paradigm is seeking a Technical Writer to support our client, a global leader in the legal services space. In this role, you will develop rich technical and end user product documentation. The ideal candidate will have clear written technical documentation communication skills and experience with graphic design.

As a Technical Writer, you will:
• Plan, create, and modify technical documents, including user specifications, manuals, and test plans to facilitate the software and product development.
• Interpret complex software/product features and functions and translate them into a concise, relevant, and readable format.
• Consult software and technology subject matter experts to review, modify, and revise complex documentation for all departments, employees, and audiences.
• Proofread and edit content created by team members and other writing staff.
• Integrate user-friendly content in illustrations, graphs, and info-graphics for enhanced user experience.
• Write, review, and organize online help content to facilitate end-users and partner with training specialists and coordinators to assist in refinement of on-boarding materials.
• Engage in user research for feedback, revisions, and improvement to technical content.
• Researching and fact-check information to ensure consistency in new business responses and information surrounding the company.
• Consolidate and edit responses from individual contributors to prepare final responses
• Proofreading, performing quality assurance of written product to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency with external communication standards and to ensure material is error-free.
• Project manage responses and ensure all follow prospect/client instructions, deadlines, and all other protocols.
• Ability to multi-task various projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Ability to interact with various levels of senior management and throughout the organization.
• Contribute to optimum and most efficient workflow process and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Our skill and experience wish list includes:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Business or Communications recommended.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Editing and formatting proficiency.
• Business to Business and experience with RFP responses a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio
• Graphic design experience desired
• Experience with Adobe InDesign desktop publishing software desired, but not mandatory.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop software desired, but not mandatory.
• Portfolio or writing samples required
