Who are Videoslots?

We were born in 2011 as a result of a handful of entrepreneurs who not only had a knack for entertaining others but also an affinity with the iGaming industry. They teamed up and went about building an industry leader, setting the bar to an all-new high. Now in just ten years we now offer over 8,000 games from over 180 different game providers and we’re set to keep on growing! Naturally, we can't do all of this as well as all the exciting things we have lined up for the years to follow without the living legends that make our business the success it is today.

Tasks

As a Senior Native App Developer, you will be working on our in-house native app: designing features, writing code, performing code reviews, solving problems, tracking down bugs, and delivering stable and well-written apps. There is a high demand for new products and features, which we all work with passion as a team to balance with proper maintenance for our legacy code while we work on new projects... You will form part of a development team that owns and drives continuous improvement on the Native App using agile methodologies.
• Design and implement new features for mobile devices (iOS and Android)
• Perform functional requirements analysis, whilst writing high-quality code and documentation
• Write tests that will run on a continuous integration server 24/7 to ensure code testability, code coverage and quality conforms to the company’s highest standards
• Propose and own architectural solutions across multiple projects
• Help track requests, issues, work progress, and any other changes using our project management tools
• Provide estimates and technical documentation on request
• Be sensitive to the performance, reliability, and maintainability of your code
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Work in collaboration with the backend team, QA, designers, and external partners when required
• Responsible for the optimal maintenance of your development and test suite
• Manage your code changes using our version control system
• Coach and mentor other developers
• Participate and contribute to code reviews with your peers

Requirements
• You have a BSc / MSc in Information Technology or any other relevant degree
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a comparable software development role, at least 2 of them with Flutter
• Hands-on experience in Dart & Flutter
• Have published one or more mobile apps in Google Play Store or Apple App Store
• Experience in REST API / GraphQL / WebSocket Integration
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including automated testing and building
• Experience working in an agile development process with distributed teams
• Be proficient in using version control, with tools such as Git
• Advanced debugging, testing, and optimizations in App Development
• Write clear, maintainable, and testable code that you are proud of
• Ability to research and adapt new technologies that add value to the team
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and integrate/communicate well within a team
• Experience in the development of REST API / GraphQL
• Experience in software development practices like design patterns, SOLID principles, DRY
• Very good understanding of security practices (OWASP)
• Contributions to the software development community (blog, videos, tutorials, forums, meetups, talks, etc)
