Job Summary

The Data Analyst / Report Developer is responsible for soliciting samples and requirements and developing or modifying available reports from the applications that support the delivery of financial services by JCCUL Group. The incumbent is also required to provide inputs for the design of the data warehouse and for the successful testing of the reports.

Responsibilities
• Participates in training and other sessions in order to obtain relevant knowledge of database structures, products, and reporting tools.
• Makes estimates of effort required to complete assigned tasks and communicates it to supervisor.
• Solicits and receives requirements and reports mock-ups and samples from the relevant stakeholders and end-users.
• Translates inputs received into functional requirements for sign-off by the relevant stakeholders and end-users.
• Develops reports against the functional requirements and performs development integration testing before delivery for systems integration and... user acceptance testing.
• Delivers reports for systems integration and user acceptance testing.
• Promptly resolves issues and delivers updated reports for retesting.
• Participates in reviews of issues and user-acceptance test results, giving timely and useful feedback to the test manager and the project team.

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Certification in Project Management
• Two (2) years of experience in a similar position.
• Exposure to systems implementation exercises.
• Experience in Report Writing.
• Sound knowledge of databases and data structures.
• Knowledge of banking products.
• Knowledge of banking and software programs.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in the documentation of system requirements
