ENGINEER

Location: Ekala

As the Engineer in our food manufacturing plant, you will lead the engineering team of the twenty-four hours operated food manufacturing Plant and ensuring uninterrupted plant availability. You will be joining a team of experienced professionals in the fields of manufacturing/ engineering will pave your way for a mutually beneficial... career within the Group. This position is based in our subsidiary company Shaw Wallace Ceylon Ltd situated at Ekala.
Key job functions:
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance.
• Attend repairs and breakdown maintenance/ corrective maintenance of machinery and maintain required records.
• Troubleshoot and rectify process/ machinery issues.
• Responsible for maintenance of the factory, buildings, machinery and equipment and its safety.
• Lead and align engineering department to achieve the highest plant OEE.
The ideal candidate should have the following prerequisites:
• A degree in B Sc Mechanical/Mechatronics or HND/NDT.
• A minimum 02 years of experience in similar capacity in manufacturing/ FMCG industry is a must.
• Working knowledge and experience in plant installations/ commissioning projects will be an added advantage.
