Material/Fabrication Engineer

- Provide materials and fabrication support to projects, tenders, studies, technology development activities and assistance to other disciplines within the Company
- Perform material selection and develop material selection report
- Lead technical discussions with Suppliers and Clients
- Support supply chain management (SCM) and be the technical responsible for procurement packages (e.g. linepipe, forged components, induction bends, fabrication of spools and structures etc.)
- Participate in manufacturers testing and qualification activities
- Site visits at fabricators and manufacturers
- Contribute to knowledge management and improvement of internal procedures
- Train and support younger engineers within our team

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Materials Technology
- Minimum three years relevant work experience
- A collaborating mind set
- Communicate well, both written and verbal
