Clinical Research Budget Analyst I is responsible for the development and negotiation of budgets for clinical trials and studies regardless of funding source that includes industry sponsors, grants, awards, fellowships, cooperatives, etc. Clinical Research Budget Analyst I reviews the Medicare coverage analysis based on available study documents, such as protocol, proposed... budget, and informed consent, and captures all clinical costs and investigators and study team efforts required to carry out the study, as well as costs for ancillary services. The incumbent should be able to learn to capture all costs for procedures, labs, and other associated fees on an internal budget andto revise the proposed budget to reflect Seattle Children’s costs in the final negotiated budget. Clinical Research Budget Analyst I also communicates with the Office of Sponsored Research to ensure that all costs and subject reimbursement terms are appropriately captured in the clinical trial agreement. The incumbent will be responsible for using current and future systems used by Seattle Children’s, such as Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).

Note: This is a remote position with flexibility to be based in the following states: Washington, Alaska, Montana, Texas, Georgia, and Florida


Required Education/Experience: - B.A. degree in biology and other health sciences or financial/business administration field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar) OR equivalent combination of education and experience.- Experience reviewing and interpreting clinical research protocols and other related documents. - 2 years of experience in clinical research as a study coordinator, data coordinator, post-award administrator, or other administrative capacities. Preferred: - CPT Coding Certificate. - Exposure to Coverage/Medicare Coverage Analysis. - Experience interpreting budgets for grant-funded trials. - Experience interpreting clinical trial budgets with industry sponsors. - Experience working with a CTMS.

Min: USD $32.43/Hr. Max: USD $48.65/Hr.
Min to Max Annual Salary
Min Salary: USD $67,459.00/Yr. Max Salary: USD $101,189.00/Yr.
Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children’s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
