Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Consulting Firm - Saudi Arabia
Our Client is Global leader in Engineering, Design, and Construction, they are a multinational services firm that provides infrastructure consulting services to clients in the public and private sectors, They offer a wide range of services, including planning, design, engineering, program and construction management. They focus on projects in transportation, buildings, water, new energy, and the environment..
They are going through very fast growth this year and are looking to welcome an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a passion for creating better communities with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What will you do:
• Prepare cost estimates for construction projects, including the cost of materials, labor, and equipment.
•
Manage the... project budget, including tracking costs and ensure that the project stays within budget.
•
Administer construction contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions.
•
Manage subcontractors, and resolving disputes
•
Measure and value work completed on the project, and prepare interim and final valuations.
•
Identify and manage potential cost overruns, and implement cost-saving measures.
•
Identify and manage risks that may impact project cost, schedule, or quality.
•
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of project costs, schedules, and budgets.
•
Communicate and collaborate with other project team members, including architects, engineers, and project managers.
What do they expect from you:
1- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
2- 10+ years of experience in QS and construction.
3- Full membership of RICS or CIOB or AAC.
4- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
5- Ability to effectively communicate with architects, engineers, and other team members.
6- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
7- Strong problem-solving skills.
